Creative Hack: MidJourney Infinite Zoom

Use Midjourney’s Edit scale function to create the keyframes for an endless zoom out video.

• Start by generating your base image in Midjourney. This will be your first frame.

• Open the image in Edit and use the scale option to zoom out slightly, allowing Midjourney to generate new detail around the original image.

• Repeat the process by editing the newly generated image and scaling out again. Each step becomes a new keyframe with expanded context.

After several iterations, you will have a sequence of images that progressively zoom outward. Import these frames into your video editor and animate them with a smooth zoom to create the illusion of an infinite pull back.

This technique is ideal for surreal transitions, world building shots, and looping visuals where the scene feels endless and continuously unfolding.
